Gaye Steinke is the General Manager of Allegria Spa at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, Spa Anjali and The Athletic Club at the Westin Riverfront at Beaver Creek Mountain. She serves on the Executive Committees of the Park Hyatt and the Westin Riverfront.
Ms. Steinke is involved in the concept, planning and development of spas for East West Partners including Allegria Spa (opened 1998), Spa Anjali (opened 2007), the Spa at the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe (opened 2009), Moonlight Spa, Big Sky MT(opened 2002) and the Spa at Cooper Inn, Charleston SC (under development.) Prior to that she was General Manager of Aria Spa and Club in Vail, CO.
Dedicated to sustainable efforts, Ms. Steinke has been a presenting speaker at the Green Spa Congress in 2011 and a panelist in 2012 and serves as the Green Ambassador for the Westin Riverfront Resort.
She is a committee member for Actively Green 2015, a community-driven program founded to transform the Vail Valley into a globally-recognized sustainable destination in advance of the 2015 World Alpine Championships.
She has spoken on trends in the industry at the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association and at the Hyatt Spa Summit in New York City.
Steinke was owner of Buzz Spa, a manufacturer of skin care and aromatherapy products started in 2000 and sold in 2005.
Ms. Steinke is a graduate of Boston College and the Russian School at Norwich University. Her interests include skiing, cycling, hiking, yoga, theater, reading and cooking.
